A Jar Full of Candy

I had a workshop this past Sunday and I wanted to show you all the Hostess Gift I gave my wonderful hostess, Catina. I just loved how it turned out and so did she!!

I have lots of these canning jars in my closet so I decided to pull one out, decorate it up, fill with candy and give it to my hostess. These are so easy to do and you can use any of our Designer Fabric you want!!

I used the Timeless Portrait Designer Fabric, Whisper White & Cherry Cobbler Card Stock, Basic Black 5/8" Satin Ribbon, Chantilly 1/2" Crochet Trim, National Hemp Twine, Linen Thread, It's a Wrap Occasions Stamp Set, Vintage Trinkets, 1/16" Circle Handheld Punch and my Big Shot with the Fun Flowers Bigz L Die.

This new stamp set called It's a Wrap Occasions is so much fun to work with!! There are seven different images in this set that work perfect as labels you can wrap around little pieces of chocolate candy to dress them up or do what I did here, use as a tag!! Stampin' Up! also came out with another set of these It's a Wrap with holiday images that is in the Holiday Mini.

To make my flower/ribbon attachment I first ran fabric and card stock through my Big Shot using the Fun Flowers Bigz L Die. I then sprayed all the flowers with aresol hairspray, crumbled them up and set them outside in the sun to dry (this dried them really fast so I could continue to work with them). After my flowers were dry I did use my hot glue gun to glue them together (I did not want them coming apart).

I filled my jar with yummy candy, ripped some fabric to fit my jar and added my tag. Perfect gift that was pretty easy to put together!!
