First Day of School

Do you just ever surf the web looking at other creations using non Stampin' Up! products? Well I do this a lot to get inspiration and see what I can re-create using our products. I found THIS layout and just loved the design of it so I decided to re-create it using all Stampin' Up! products.

So what do you think? I just LOVE how it turned out!!! I am so sad that this Everyday Enchantment DSP from Sale-A-Bration is now gone but happy that I stocked up on it!! I also used Crumb Cake Textured Card Stock, Lucky Limeade & Poppy Parade Card Stock, Everyday Enchantment Lucky Limeade 1/8" Organdy Ribbon, Natural Hemp Twine, 2 1/2" Circle & 1 3/4" Circle Punches, Hat Pins, Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit, Distressing Tool from the Cutter Kit and Log Cabin Smooch Spritz.

I just love this Blossom Builders Kit!! You get so much with this kit and the flower combinations are endless!!

Do you like how I did this background technique? What to know how I did it? I used some retired card stock and punched out 10 circles using the 2 1/2" Circle Punch. I adhered them to the layout using our Dotto Adhesive which is temporary adhesive that just rubs off after you are done using it. I sprayed my layout using the Log Cabin Smooch Spritz, let it dry and then removed my circles. Gives your layout a fun interesting background!!

I also inked my edges of DSP and Card Stock using a Stampin' Sponge and some Crumb Cake Classic Ink. This was a very fun layout to create!!

Have a great day!!

Tiffany-- I love how you made your own polka dots--so clever! I love all your pages you shared on the first page of your blog, actually. :-)
I think I'll have to try this technique, too, and perhaps on a card. Great idea!
