Here is a card we did back in May in my Stamp Club. I wanted to showcase lots of retiring items so pretty much everything in this card is retired now!! I found a card on Pinterest that I just loved so I pretty much cased it. That is one thing I love about Pinterest, all the inspiration!! If you haven't checked it out yet or are not following me yet you can go here:
This card uses all the In Colors that just retired. I hate to see products and colors go but I know that means lots more awesome stuff will take its place!! We used Blushing Bride, Poppy Parade & Confetti White Card Stock, 2010-2012 In Color Patterns DSP Stack, Peach Parfait 1/2" Stitched-Poly Ribbon, Linen Thread, Scallop Border & Butterfly Punches, Window Sheets, Heard from the Heart Stamp Set and my Big Shot with the Snow Burst Embossing Folder.
This was a fun card to put together!! After punching the butterflies out of the Window Sheet using the Butterfly Punch you will want to then run them through the Big Shot with the Embossing Folder. Gives them a neat textured look!! To adhere the Window Sheet Butterflies to the paper butterflies just use one Mini Glue Dot on the body of the butterfly. The Linen Thread wrapped around them will hide the Mini Glue Dot.
Have a great day!!
